Job Description
The International Employee Management team seeks a compliance accountant to join the team. The accountant will be essential in helping to develop a more robust international payroll compliance system and is part of the team responsible for monitoring both inbound and outbound international employees, communicating compliance responsibilities, entering, and reviewing payroll and other records for accuracy and completeness, and supporting annual compliance. This role will also assist in tax filings, as needed. This position is heavily data orientated including reviewing, entering, reconciling, and auditing different data sets to track and determine compliance with various requirements.

The successful candidate, not presently employed within Financial Services, will be paid a signing bonus of $750 and a $1,250 bonus after completing six months of employment with the department.

Essential Duties
The first year this position will be on the project team that is implementing a new human capital and payroll system. This will include assisting in developing a testing plan, performing testing, and identifying problems or best practices. They will also be assisting in developing updated processes and procedures regarding international payroll and employee compliance.
This position must be adaptable to changes in job duties and be able to manage environments of change.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field AND one (1) year of professional accounting experience; OR, Five (5) years professional accounting experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Working Environment
