Job Description
PRN’s in the Education department at Arizona PBS will assist with a variety of tasks as needed in the department, related to grant funding and deliverables. Because Arizona PBS is the administrative home for the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce and Professional Development Registry, there is specific need for assistance with early childhood educators creating completed Registry profiles. Additionally, there is need for promotion and recruitment for First Things First college scholarship applicants in partnership with the institutes of higher education across the state.
Additional duties could involve material preparation for educator professional development and family engagement workshops, curriculum review and lesson plan creation for PBS LearningMedia, assistance with community events Arizona PBS is participating in (event set up/ tear down, hands-on activities with children, interact with event attendees and distribute Arizona PBS /FTF marketing resources).

Essential Duties
PRN’s will be expected to complete specific duties as assigned, based on the needs identified in the job description. Additionally, all PRNs are expected to check email and complete any necessary ASU and/or Arizona PBS staff trainings.
Days and Schedule: PRN's are "on call", and work as needed, with no set schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Six years of progressively responsible administrative/coordinator program experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Evidence of a Bachelor’s degree and two years of progressively responsible school or office work or any equivalent combination of experience and or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Evidence of being bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.
- Evidence of a valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Familiarity with the Arizona Early childhood workforce Registry and First Things First college scholarship program preferred.
- Experience with PBS LearningMedia and Bright By Text also desired.
Working Environment
PRN's would work in a variety of environments depending on the task assigned. It could be an office setting, requiring sitting and material preparation or digital work online. It could be in school setting, either PreK-12, university, or community college, assisting educators with Registry, scholarships, and Arizona PBS curricular resources. It could be in an outdoor setting or event/indoor setting at a booth, requiring lifting, set up, walking and standing for long periods of time.
