The Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions’ (CHS) Health Care Delivery undergraduate and graduate programs seek part-time Faculty Associates and Academic Associates to teach courses or provide instructional-related support for the Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 semesters for both in-person and online courses. Through coursework and research opportunities, our degree programs in Health Care Delivery provide students with a well-rounded understanding of all aspects of healthcare systems and preparation for professional schools. The programs seeking to fill positions include undergraduate programs in Health Care Administration and Policy, Health Sciences, Medical Studies, and a graduate program in Health Care Administration and Policy and Doctorate in Behavioral Health (DBH) degree with Clinical and Management concentrations.

These positions are part-time, non-benefits eligible, semester-to-semester contracts based on the dates of the sessions/courses assigned. Subsequent semester assignments may be offered at the discretion of the college and university-based on teaching performance, student course evaluations, and course availability and enrollment.

Responsibilities for the faculty associate positions include course instruction, webinars, student engagement, monitoring, and supporting student success. Responsibilities for the academic associate positions include supporting the instructor with student engagement, grading, and outreach.

About the College of Health Solutions

The College of Health Solutions is committed to translating scientific health research and discovery into practice to improve health outcomes through education, research, and service. We equip students with the knowledge and skills to influence healthier lifestyle choices; develop creative interventions to improve the health of people and populations; analyze and translate large amounts of health data into solutions; and maximize the technology, science, business, and application of diagnostics. Qualifications

Faculty Associate Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related field
  • Experience teaching or related professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse students, colleagues, and staff in a multicultural environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience teaching courses in integrated healthcare, healthcare finance, behavioral health, healthcare systems, healthcare communication and/or healthcare management and leadership
  • Experience using online learning platforms for course instruction
  • Experience managing course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level, including development of course content, lectures, assessments

Academic Associate Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a related field
  • Experience supporting course instruction such as grading, student engagement and outreach
  • Demonstrated ability to work, collaborate, and communicate effectively with diverse students, colleagues, and staff in a multicultural environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Teaching assistant experience at the undergraduate or graduate levels
  • Student mentoring experience
  • Experience managing course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level, including development of course content, lectures, assessments
