The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University at the Tempe campus invites applications for a career-track instructor position in the area of management. This appointment is part-time (75%), benefits eligible and begins in Fall 2024. While the faculty may teach online courses, we are NOT hiring faculty who teach exclusively online.
Essential Functions: The individual will effectively teach management, which would include courses in strategic management as well as courses in other areas of management (e.g., organizational behavior, leadership) at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, serve as a mentor to students, and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance our collaborative department culture. This is primarily a teaching role with a course load of 3-3.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- An earned master’s degree/doctorate preferred in management or related field by time of appointment.
- Experience teaching management (e.g., strategic management, organizational behavior or related) courses effectively at the university level.
- Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by organization and communication skills or strong teaching evaluations.
Desired Qualifications
Preference will be given to individuals with:
- Ability to meet AACSB business accreditation standards for participating faculty.
- Ability to develop course curriculum that engages and effectively supports teaching and learning.
- Experience and willingness to teach in innovative ways.
- Teaching experience in a variety of platforms including fully online and face-to-face.
- Prior teaching experience in management.
