Sustainability Analyst Sr
Job Description
The Sustainability Analyst (Transportation) works as part of the ASU University Sustainability Practices team in close partnership with Facilities Development and Management and Parking and Transit Services.
This position will primarily focus on the university's transition to electric vehicles. This will include supporting the Shared Fleet program as well as university-wide vehicle acquisition, ownership and disposal. Both areas will require customer service, budget management, and data analysis. The position will work with a wide range of campus partners to provide cost-effective transportation solutions to university departments that support university sustainability commitments.
When needed, this position will support the collection and analysis of ASUs campus sustainability information to guide institutional sustainability strategy.

Essential Duties
- Work with campus partners to support the transition of ASU's fleet to electric vehicles.
- Work with external partners to coordinate ASU's transportation electrification with regional efforts.
- Work with campus partners to support ASU's shared fleet program.
- Support engagement efforts to facilitate ASU's commuters using electric vehicles.
- Support strategic use of electric vehicle charging stations.
- Collection and analysis of campus sustainability data.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to area of assignment, and 5 years of experience coordinating/managing data or sustainability programs or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Desired Qualifications
- Quantitative reasoning skills and the ability to comprehend, synthesize, benchmark and analyze sustainability data.
- Basic financial skills to track transactions and budget expenditures.
- Experience with, and aptitude for, technology and software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both as a team leader and member, and complete multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
- Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management and sound judgment.
- Experience working with electric vehicle fleets.
- Experience managing electric vehicle charging stations.
- Knowledge of fleet servicing, fleet scheduling, fleet analysis, and operations.
Working Environment
- Includes both office and outdoor work.
- May involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 70 pounds.
- May require standing up to eight hours each day; working in all weather conditions.
- May be exposed to high noise levels and may require wearing hearing protection.
- Travel between campuses required.
