Description
The Dolan Lab, in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University, is seeking applicants for an Associate Research Scientist position. The Dolan Lab focuses on developing pro-regenerative therapies for mammalian appendage injuries. Our work explores the crossroads of mechanobiology, neurobiology, and bioengineering with the long-term goal of treating non-regenerative appendage injuries in mammals.

The responsibilities of the Associate Research Scientist will include but are not limited to:
- Design and execute experiments, analyze and interpret experimental results, develop conclusions, and devise solutions to problems utilizing detailed knowledge of research laboratory procedures and practices in collaboration with the PI.
- Research and plan follow-up experiments
- Keep detailed logs of the experiments and report scientific findings
- Maintain equipment, research supplies, and lab environment
- Communicate results and progress in laboratory and one-on-one meetings
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Contribute to the preparation of manuscripts and progress reports when needed
