Within the range spanning Technician to Senior (inclusive), there are two separate but non-exclusive tracks. An employee can pursue either a GRAPHICS or VIDEO specialization. The new Developer grade is positioned to recognize the high value of a versatile hybrid member, one with strong competencies in both disciplines, but not at the specialized expertise needed to qualify for Senior Developer grade. The goal is to encourage employees to diversify their skill sets in order to attain the higher project-management positions which require a convergence of specialties. A base-level technician position has also been developed for entry-level contingencies (such a position has value).
