We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support department talent acquisition efforts for our innovative and high-performing teams. Utilizing advertising resources, marketing abilities, talent acquisition avenues, and proactivity, this position will work to attract potential employees who align with and contribute to the EdPlus mission and culture.
Essential Duties
- Supports EdPlus talent acquisition efforts to attract highly qualified and diverse candidates in a way that advances the EdPlus mission and culture tenets.
- Seeks out and utilizes advertising resources and talent acquisition avenues including social media, online job sites, internal communications, industry-specific job boards, staffing firms, on- and off-campus job fairs, etc. as an EdPlus brand ambassador.
- Works with the EdPlus marketing team to create graphics, fliers, and other collateral for social media and job fairs.
- Proactively sources candidates for hard-to-hire positions and invites them to apply.
- Collaborates with EdPlus HR Partners to improve the attractiveness and effectiveness of EdPlus job postings.
- Manages EdPlus relationships with internal and external resources including ASU Career Services, Indeed, LinkedIn, JobElephant, and ASU-approved staffing firms.
- Works closely with EdPlus HR to assist with and coordinate departmental HR administrative activities to ensure adherence with federal, state, local and University policies, practices, and regulations.
- Assists with candidate screening, interviewing, and reference checks as requested.
- Gathers, maintains, and prepares reports for a wide variety of staffing data for recruitments across EdPlus to inform financial and staffing decision making.
- Provides backup to other EdPlus HR team members as needed to ensure continual efficient operations of department to meet customer service needs.
- Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field; AND, two (2) years of progressively responsible human resources experience in one or more fields; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Evidence of a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience in maintaining effective working relationships in the supporting department talent acquisition needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge and execution of quality customer service standards, methods, and practices.
- Experience in higher education talent recruitment.
- Experience with applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements, laws, and standards related to Human Resources talent acquisition.
- Experience in planning, analyzing, establishing priorities, and problem-solving.
- Evidence of effective communication
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment subject to quickly changing priorities, sensitive/confidential information, and short deadlines.
- Experience recruiting in a values-led organization that emphasizes a culture of inclusion.

Working Environment
EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education, and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.
Driving to and from occasional in-person offsite recruitment events is expected.
EdPlus at ASU supports flexible work options, ranging from alternate work schedules to hybrid remote work schedules, subject to approvals per ASU policy. (This is not a fully remote position.)
