As a Sales Executive Fiber 2, you’ll work in direct sales with customers at their place of business to support new region fiber building sales opportunities. You’ll generate new revenue from customers in on-Net buildings where AT&T pre-deploys network assets like fiber and Ethernet multiplexing. You’ll also serve as a lead generator – uncovering your own leads through external networks and/or cold calling. We’ll rely on you to maintain a self-starter mindset as you grow your own territory, identify opportunities, propose and close sales and collaborate with account teams. You’ll also partner with clients to uncover needs and deliver custom solutions that add value and solve customers’ strategic business priorities. Your success will require a combination of superior sales, technical and negotiation skills.

You’ll be tasked with:

  • Prospecting and qualifying leads within assigned territory via phone, door knocking or prem visits
  • Selling AT&T enterprise IP and data services to accounts from all AT&T market segments
  • Offering AT&T fiber optic solutions to business customers in pre-lit buildings including Ethernet based internet access, VoIP, MPLS, IPVPN and Metro Ethernet services
  • Owning the relationship with property managers and securing the ability of AT&T to solicit customers in exchange for advanced network assets
  • Interfacing with customers other AT&T account teams to properly serve and approach key clients in existing market segments.
  • Driving new sales revenue, customer satisfaction, and maximizing building penetration to ensure a return on prepositioned network assets

What you need:

  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Current auto insurance
  • Reliable vehicle per transportation needs of the market

What you’ll bring:

  • 5-8 years of outside sales, B2B sales and/or account management experience preferred
  • Fiber broadband technology experience and knowledge preferred
  • Efficient in sales funnel management; previous experience in CRM systems
  • Fiber broadband technology experience and knowledge preferred
  • Experience with telecommunications outside sales or technical sales desired

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, technical discipline preferred

We offer a competitive base pay plus commission with the ability to earn additional compensation based on meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Our Sales Executive Fiber 2 earn between $60,200 - $120,400+ $58,000 in commissions when sales goals are met. Not to mention all of the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training
