Job Overview

DUTIES: Lead projects of small to medium size and technical breath. Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Apply engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Provide technical expertise within project teams. Develop advanced technologies and concepts with global reach and industry application. Create technical products and services. Apply knowledge and broad understanding of multiple disciplines. Integrate knowledge of technical principles and methods of multiple disciplines with knowledge of products and services and internal operations. Advise on technologies, systems, and procedures. Solve complex and critical problems related to significant and unique issues. Use extensive research and interpretative thinking. Utilize innovative methods in developing solutions. Work on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. Develop solutions to problems without precedent. Act as lead contributor on critical projects and technology initiatives. Develop enterprise-wide integrated solutions. Contribute to complex and innovative business solutions to achieve strategic objectives. Provide technical expertise to peers across the company. Develop beneficial strategic alliances with customers. Perform network design, engineering, implementation,and maintenance of lab integrated networks spanning data center Clos fabric, local area networks, metro area networks, and the common back bone. Leverage custom and off the shelf monitoring and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting, traffic management, and performance tuning of networks. Resolve advanced and complex support issues and provide assistance and guidance to junior network engineers. Design, implement, maintain, and support complex carrier grade and carrier class network deployments. Design and support multiple networking technologies for integrated networks including Layer - 2 switching protocols using VLAN, VTP, and STP and Layer-3 routing protocols using BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS. Apply advanced knowledge of network security policies, processes, and practices across multiple security zone architectures. Complete logical management of IP addresses, DNS, and DHCP.


    REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation leading projects of small to medium size and technical breath; developing advanced technologies and concepts with global reach and industry application; creating technical products and services; advising on technologies, systems, and procedures; developing solutions to problems without precedent; designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting complex carrier grade and carrier class network deployments; designing and supporting multiple networking technologies for integrated networks including Layer – 2 switching protocols using VLAN, VTP, and STP and Layer-3 routing protocols using BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS; applying advanced knowledge of network security policies, processes, and practices across multiple security zone architectures; and completing logical management of IP addresses, DNS, and DHCP.

    Our Principal Member of Technical Staffs earn between $144,800 - $270,400 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
