Assesses the technical feasibility, raises and resolves technical issues, and defines the technical risks associated with customer requirements and/or new business opportunities. Oversees technical aspects of designing and deploying products and services into the field.

May provide service concept and service realization leadership through primary market research and service concept development, prototyping, proof of concept development, trial service offerings, user experience design, network management, and influencing the use of leading edge technologies in service offerings.
