Job Summary: We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Financial Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Tax Technology team. The candidate will create and manage financial systems projects, collaborate with the Tax department, and leverage advanced skills with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Alteryx, SnowFlake, RPA and Excel to analyze complex financial data and create automation solutions. The Lead Financial Systems Analyst will be a crucial contributor to the company’s financial analysis, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial systems projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and testing.
- Collaborate with the Tax department to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with Tax laws.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting models using Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Alteryx, and Excel to analyze complex financial data.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all financial systems.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial systems and reporting.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, Data Analytics or related field
- 5+ years experience in financial analysis, project management & systems implementation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills • Proficient in Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Alteryx, Snowflake, RPA & Excel
- Knowledge of Tax laws & experience working with Tax departments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities & deadlines, and stakeholders.
Overall Purpose: Responsible for updating and maintaining financial systems. Leads process improvement efforts to enhance the effectiveness, accuracy, and performance of financial systems.
Education: Typically, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience: Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
