About the Opportunity

Ellucian is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator to join the Information technology team. This is a high impact role where you will make recommendations and help implement changes to the functionality of ServiceNow.


Where you will make an impact

  • Configure ServiceNow settings and rules
  • Rigorous and thorough testing of all changes to the ServiceNow environment
  • Make recommendations and help implement changes to the functionality of ServiceNow
  • Provide support via telephone, email, chat, or other inquiry systems for client issues
  • Quickly learn and absorb the policies and procedures used to support various IT systems and environments
  • Assist in testing and implementing vendor releases of the ServiceNow platform
  • Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule


What you will bring

  • Strong experience with ServiceNow Reporting and Dashboards
  • Experience operating in an Agile development methodologies
  • Understanding of REST API and ServiceNow Glide Scripting Language
  • Demonstrated proficiency with ServiceNow ITSM offerings
  • Strong experience with the implementation and use of the Customer Service Management application
  • Experience with dynamic Change management workflows
  • Ability to explain technical issues in plain English
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with peers, other Ellucian teams, vendors, and clients
  • Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience
  • Capable of working on multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Successful track record of producing deliverables on time
  • Clearly and concisely document processes and procedures
  • Collaborative team experience with superior problem-solving skills
  • Provide technical mentoring, training, and guidance for ServiceNow Users
