The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) of Professional Services is a strategic business partner and management advisor focused on providing insights and influence to translate business requirements to an executable talent strategy. This role is part of a passionate and results-driven team where innovators and creative problem solvers thrive and enjoy opportunities to collaborate across the People Team and with the business to influence decisions and drive outcomes that support our ‘People First’ philosophy in the midst of exciting business growth and transformation. The HRBP reports to a Sr Director, HRBP. The successful candidate must have an outstanding business acumen and curiosity, strong executive coaching skills, experience leading projects and excellent communication skills to facilitate change.
Where you will make an impact 

  • Understand the vision, purpose and strategy of the business and how this creates and aligns with our HR strategy.
  • Operate in a key role on the leadership teams of client organizations, working as a coach to leaders and engaging in planning and strategy meetings to ensure business needs translate to HR strategy.
  • Lead and enable business leaders to develop and refine HR strategic plans, then act as the project leader to deliver upon the plan.
  • Work directly with all HR Centers of Excellence to support client groups with HR needs including performance management, talent acquisition, career development, diversity, compensation, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with business leaders on talent and performance management, competency requirements, development plans and organizational design
  • Support the business to interpret data and build effective action plans to improve employee engagement and continuously improve the overall employee experience.
  • Work as part of a team to support management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategy.
  • Understand the requirements and opportunities of client groups’ reward programs, input on programs and lead the client group implementation of compensation programs including salary and promotions planning, incentive planning and job architecture.
  • Look for insights, patterns and opportunities through business metrics and people analytics.
  • Balance business needs with constant effort to support the employee experience and ensure adherence to our ‘People First’ philosophy.
  • Manage and participate in functional and cross-functional people initiatives, partnering with the People team’s centers of excellence.
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve employee policies and initiatives and enhance overall business performance across the business.

What you will bring

  • Proven results translating business strategy into people strategy, programs and initiatives through to successful execution of the programs.
  • Strong experience and desire to serve in a consultative capacity to business leaders, shaping strategy, goals and alignment.
  • Expert level experience advising management on complex employee relations and performance challenges.
  • Experience leading change management and organizational development strategies in order to influence and assist change initiatives.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities where the People Team can add value and develop associated plans to incorporate ideas into the business.
  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills, possessing the ability to interface with audiences of all levels throughout the organization.
  • Ability to analyze people metrics and contribute to development and execution of action plans.
    Experience working in a high-tech environment and familiarity with the software industry desired.
