Ellucian is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administratorto join the India Professional Services team to deliver Ellucian RDBA & Application Administration Service Offerings while customers continue to mature in their journey to the cloud and to fully SaaS based solutions. Bring in your full-stack of Database Administrator and Application Administration technical expertise to make an impact to the Higher Education customer base and grow together. The Consultantwill serve in various capacities across all aspects of a project including Technical Planning, implementation and deployment of Ellucian ERP Applications which often requires considerable resources and high levels of complex functional and technical integration and knowledge. What you will bring

8+years’ work experience in the following areas.
\n
Oracle Database, WebLogic and Tomcat Installation and troubleshooting
\n
Oracle RAC Database 12c & 19c Upgrades and Migration
\n
RMAN backups & recovery and Cloning of databases
\n
Oracle Database Performance Tuning
\n
\n
\n
Experience with Installation & Maintenance of Oracle RAC, ASM Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Utilities like Datapump etc.

Knowledge of Oracle Database replication methods; Strong SQL and PL/SQL capabilities

Experience with LDAP technologies, Identity management and single sign on services and solutions

Experience of various phases of Service Delivery Projects; Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.

Provide detailed technical documentation and troubleshooting steps for all engagements.
\n

Experience with Installation & Maintenance of Oracle RAC, ASM Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Utilities like Datapump etc.
Knowledge of Oracle Database replication methods; Strong SQL and PL/SQL capabilities
Experience with LDAP technologies, Identity management and single sign on services and solutions
Experience with SSL Certificates
Experience of various phases of Service Delivery Projects; Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies.
Strong technology understanding includes enterprise systems and web technologies.
Flexibility required to support a Global organization spanning many time zones
Ability to deconstruct complex technical issues to identify root cause issues; strong analytical and problem solving skills and abilities
Product experience, including consulting experience on relevant solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills. Must present a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
Perform Installation, Upgrade and Migration Services of Oracle Database, RAC and Ellucian ERP applications in across OS platforms.
Perform Integration & Configuration of application components of Ellucian Identity management and Single sign-on solutions.
Provide Remote DBA support that includes database administration, performing DB Health checks, applying Oracle Upgrades & Patches, performance tuning and maintenance of Ellucian applications.
Planning, implementing and execution of database backups and disaster recovery scenarios.
Participate in service preparation call and demonstrate Service Delivery Process and Clarify Technical/Functional Queries on Ellucian RDBA Service Offerings.
Conduct technical assessments, understand customer requirements and work collaboratively with multiple subject matter experts to support project success.
Provide detailed technical documentation and troubleshooting steps for all engagements.
Advise and offer recommended practices for technical standards, guidelines, and quality control measures for enabling and implementing software systems.
Define technical task lists that align implementation efforts and tactical activities to the overall project goals and roadmap.
Advise project manager on structure and sequence of the software and systems installation and technical readiness activities.
