Our Impact

The Inventory Management Engineering team is focused on driving down the firm’s financing cost, maximising our P&L, through the development of our inventory management platforms. Mostly written in Java, our software platforms leverages Kafka for event sequencing and operational research algorithms for optimization in order to manage billion of dollars’ worth of firm’s cash and securities inventory. This role represents an opportunity to make an impact to our business by contributing to the further development of our inventory management platforms, which tracks the firm’s inventory in real-time and automatically optimize the placement of our cash and securities inventory in order to maximize the firm’s efficiency.

As part of our team, you will:

- Participate in projects to continue development of our inventory management platforms;

- Lead the design and development process working closely with traders, operations and other groups;

- Create highly scalable systems; develop user-facing web applications and analytics;

- Analyse requirements, develop, deploy and support application and services;

- Contribute in a global team of engineers.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field;

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience;

- Experience leading requirements gathering, design and implementation of a significant project or system;

- Strong experience in Java, Python, C++ or equivalent;

- Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications

- High performance & throughput server side programming;

- Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka;

- Familiar with Spring/Boot ecosystem;

- SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) Database experience, knowledge pf temporal databases would be beneficial;

- Hands-on experience with development and SDLC of enterprise-grade applications.

- Knowledge of mathematical optimization;
