CORPORATE TREASURY

Corporate Treasury manages the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet and capital to maximize net interest income and return on equity through liability planning and execution, financial resource allocation, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio management.

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted segment that partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. Alongside this vital service delivery role, Operations provides essential risk management and control, preserving and enhancing the firm’s assets and its reputation. Operations span all product lines and markets, serving as internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeliness and integrity to our business.

OUR IMPACT

Liquidity Management Operations serves as the firm’s central team for managing cash & collateral needs of the firm for same day and forward looking. To achieve this, we work closely across businesses within the firm (including FX, Prime Brokerage, Asset Servicing, Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Products, Listed Derivatives, Commodities, Collateral, STIR, GLP, GSS) and multiple external service providers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Projecting the firm’s same day and forward-looking cash & collateral positions
  • Submitting daily funding requirements to the FX Desk
  • Ensuring that all the bank accounts are monitored through the day and funded as per the requirement
  • Ensuring that all inventory is optimized in either funding flows or short covers
  • Managing adhoc funding and cash alignment needs of the business
  • Managing adhoc securities funding needs
  • Ensuring the fails are monitored intraday to cover cash for any adverse situation
  • Maintain close relationships with agent banks and working closely with them to ensure payments are processed
  • Liaise with various middle office and settlements team across the globe to ensure accurate application of cash and reduce client and liquidity risk
  • Working in close collaboration with the Global Liquidity Management Operations teams in Tokyo, Singapore, Warsaw, London, New York and Salt Lake City.
  • Maintain close relationships with Corporate Treasury & Repo Desk for firm funding requirements
  • Liaise with various middle office and settlements team across the globe to ensure accurate projections & reduce liquidity risk

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability, has strong organizational skills.
  • Picks up or anticipates problems through careful analysis & attention to detail.
