THE TEAM
The Client Identities team is responsible for designing, developing and implementing strategic solutions that enable a secure and seamless sign-in experience for the firm’s clients; the current suite is a combination of on-premises and cloud-based offerings.

THE ROLE

We are pursuing senior devops engineer who enjoys working in a client driven and agile environment and like to contribute across the stack; They work closely with developers to ensure the entire software development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error-free with a primary goal to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and improve the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
• Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
• Implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
• Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
• Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in software development, IT operations, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Bash or Java.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and technologies, such as Gitlab, Docker, Terraform.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of some or all of the following concepts: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML
• Experience or interest in building mission critical and highly available systems
• Familiarity with security products such as PingFederate, Azure Active Directory, Okta (or other IAM solutions) is a plus.
