YOUR IMPACT

GSAS is seeking an RIA Custody Vice President of Business Development to join our fast-growing, world-class sales team.

As a dynamic and driven professional, you will be a key contributor to GSAS having a formidable presence in the RIA custody space. Joining our team, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, prospecting new clients, qualifying, and vetting incoming leads, attracting advisors pursuing independence, as well as building internal and external relationships. You will also work closely with a range of Goldman Sachs departments to implement strategies to deliver the firm while increasing awareness of the GSAS business.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

  • Build and manage relationships with new and existing RIAs.
  • Make proactive, outbound calls to identify and follow up on qualified prospects.
  • Engage with and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
  • Assist with pipeline reporting and CRM cleanliness.
  • Work to provide solutions for advisors’ needs with respective stakeholders across Goldman Sachs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the full Goldman Sachs offering.
  • Partner with marketing to drive lead flow and alignment of sales-enabled campaigns.
  • Build relationships with Centers of Influence to increase awareness in the industry.
  • Meet and exceed specified asset growth and new client goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales, or a similar role; experience in RIA, custody or brokerage industry.
  • Ability to lead a complex sale cycle.
  • Team player with demonstrated initiative/leadership through participation in job related groups or committees.
  • In-depth understanding of the Registered Investment Advisor, breakaway and custody marketplace.

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
