We are seeking Financial Analysts who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong communication skills, and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business. Our Family Office is a specialized team that is dedicated to advising, servicing, and managing the wealth of the most senior partners and stakeholders of the Firm. In addition our approach creates a culture of individualized, results-driven financial management and integration for our clients and their families. Our teams work with an average of 30 clients. We are able to provide resources at the highest level of service to help save clients’ time and money.

AYCO Financial Counseling (AYCO)

Goldman Sachs Ayco Financial Counseling (Ayco) partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce—leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees’ financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Handle tax affairs of high net worth clients
  • Interacting with clients in the accumulation of tax information and interfacing with the appropriate outside accounting firms preparing U.S. and foreign tax returns, where necessary
  • Perform reviews of tax returns
  • Prepare quarterly income tax projections and extension estimates
  • Review tax equalization computations where necessary
  • Provide comprehensive personal financial planning and tax related services to Goldman Sachs partners
  • Prepare financial exhibits such as net worth statements, cash flow analyses, income tax projections, will summaries and estate flowcharts
  • Gather data and review complex tax returns for our high net worth clients
  • Extensive client contact including face-to-face interaction with clients and their outside advisors to obtain information and provide advice

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Finance or Accounting; CPA, JD, MBA, CFP or MS Tax preferred
  • Two years' work experience in individual income taxes; expatriate tax experience helpful but not required
  • Exceptional individual income tax experience with high net worth clients
  • Working knowledge of other financial planning areas, such as employee benefits, estate/wealth transfer planning and insurance
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, BNA, and GoSystem
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service
  • Proven track record with cross training, task-sharing and mutually supportive teamwork
  • Innovative thought processes and pro-active time management and task completion follow-through
  • SIE, Series 7 and 63 required (must be obtained within three months of employment)

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
