Monitoring Product Lead

The Monitoring Product Team is responsible for building Products that monitor end-to-end business goals, define rule based workflows, leverage data analytics and machine learning models to identify trends, with a goal to excel at client service, provide business controls and reduce risk at scale.

The Monitoring Product Manager role is responsible for the product roadmap, working across stakeholders and using data analytics to define new rules and product features and partnering with engineering to build and launch new features - including building an advanced rule engine to house cross functional business rules and their management, curated alert workflows, leverage machine learning to identify trends, and more.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on fast growing and evolving product, covering all aspects of the bank's business and working closely with stakeholders to deliver tangible product and features with measurable KPIs.

The role requires experience in financial or banking industry, payments knowledge and technical product management experience is preferred, The role will work closely with the rest of the product teams, engineering, sales, and functional teams such as legal, compliance, risk, operations to build products and features.'

As a product manager you will:

  • Identify industry and client needs and disruption opportunities, guiding interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative products to market.
  • Own and build a product roadmap including differentiated capabilities.
  • Establish or participate in Design Thinking, Agile, and LEAN rituals which establish rhythm for the team, promote ongoing communication, and iterative refinement of capabilities.
  • Drive build-vs-buy decisions in our product development process, combing the landscape for potential Fintech partners in various stages of maturity
  • Own direct delivery of key product offerings including building business case, requirements, go-to-market plans, testing and ongoing product management and monitoring
  • Accountability and responsibility for product performance including defining and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success/failure as well as monitoring ongoing client usage and experience for enhancements
  • Test and iterate in small-scale pilots to validate concepts, refine them to achieve product-market fit, develop Minimally Viable Products (MVPs) and then scale to drive vertical and horizontal economics
  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision making
  • Prioritize, negotiate and remove blockers to orchestrate successful launch or optimization cycle
  • Educate and work with cross-functional teams including firmwide legal, compliance, risks to ensure that the product offerings are market and client ready with appropriate risk and controls
  • Serve as subject matter expert, contributing practitioner, thought leader, career guide and mentor to teams

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in and passion for building and shipping great products, preferably web channels in the financial service domain
  • A deep understanding of Cash Management & Payments needs for Corporate clients on client experiences and internal processes
  • Experience working with Agile Methodologies
  • Exceptional communication skills- someone who is an engaging storyteller and is at ease presenting to executives
  • Creative problem solver who lives at the intersection of Human, Business and Technology dimensions. Deep fluency and experience in at least two of these dimensions, with solid understanding of the third
  • Blend of both strategic and tactical thinking- someone who can identify and prioritize opportunities in highly ambiguous contexts, and then organize thematic work areas in deep detail, thus aligning long term vision with iterative execution
  • Strong quantitative background to support data-informed decision making
  • Collaborative, team player attitude with the ability to navigate and influence the organization
  • Experience working with legal, compliance, risk and regulatory requirements with respect to web platforms and client communication
  • Comfortable in the fast lane: Experience with driving rapid team and product growth

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 8 years of experience in Product Management
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Treasury Management and/or Corporate Payments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Behavioral Science, Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into Corporate facing digital products
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile product management
