Job Description

Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator is a new digital platform that enables our institutional clients to quickly and efficiently, launch, list, and manage their ETFs. This unique, “ETF infrastructure as a service” product is being built from the ground up, in an ambitious and dynamic environment. We are a global team of ETF specialists, software engineers, product managers and designers looking for passionate individuals who thrive on teams that rapidly ideate and iterate, to produce the best product for our clients.

The CRM Engineering team is responsible for building a world-class Client Relationship Management system, including sales, sales trading, and client services users globally across all products. The CRM solution offers a comprehensive platform to enhance collaboration and focused client strategy development, deliver management analytics and insights, and provide sales and client service productivity tools to support workflow efficiencies, enhance client relationships and drive new revenue streams and business models.

The Role

This role supports the build out of the CRM Salesforce functionality for Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator. You will be embedded within the CRM Engineering team and work with both teams to help drive and execute on our CRM roadmap and priorities.

  • Collaborate across disciplines to develop a world class CRM product for the ETF Accelerator business
  • Be involved in all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) including effort estimation, the gathering of business requirements, the design, development, reviewing, building, testing, and deployment of commercial scale software changes
  • Design and develop best in class solutions in Salesforce Lightning, Visual Force, Apex, CSS and JavaScript
  • Facilitate technical process review sessions and develop robust testing plans
  • Engage with support teams to troubleshoot and solve production issues faced by user

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, specifically Sales or Service Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitations
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, especially REST and SOAP APIs
  • Hands-on experience designing and developing Lightning Web Components
  • Clear understanding of Salesforce access and sharing models, including Apex sharing
  • Experience with Apex code, write Apex triggers, Apex classes, developing Visual Force pages, Visual Force controllers, and workflows/approval rules using custom code
  • Ability to understand data migration and integration requirements, analyze requirements, define and execute implementation plans
  • Strong communication skills to be able to form relationships with stakeholders and break down functionality to a non-technical audience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ETL tools like the Informatica cloud and/or Mulesoft
  • Experience with relational databases such as SOQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle
  • Commercial awareness
