Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in engineering program management or product design engineering.
  • Experience in post-ramp qualification process or product development and phase-gate approach.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with consumer electronics in product development, phase-gate approach.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle, tools, processes, and operations planning.
  • Ability to lead Technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans.
  • Ability to understand quickly, focus on key points, improve processes and plans.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, team player, and creative thinking skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
