Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects.
  • 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience in mobile device application development.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience with developing Android applications.

You will be responsible for delivering the Fitbit experience on Wear OS devices. As part of the team, you will deliver the Fitbit Health experience to Google’s Wear OS platform.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000-$283,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of software engineers.
  • Manage a team while also contributing production level code.
  • Set roadmaps and identify areas of investment.
