Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software engineering.
  • Experience in embedded system design on kernel drivers, system stability debugging, or bootloader.
  • Experience working with C or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Android framework crash analysis.
  • Experience working with hardware designers and reading schematics.
  • Experience with ARM or other low-power SoC architectures.
  • Experience programming with shell and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and conduct in-depth research on stability issues with hardware, software, and the system on a chip (SoC) team.
  • Participate in the development of the next generation of Google SoC.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software quality.
