Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in UX Design.
Experience with human computer interaction (HCI) or computer science.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with using UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Framer, etc.).
Experience working across organizational boundaries and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to turn ideas into functional prototypes.
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

Responsibilities

Understand the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products, technologies, user motivations, market opportunities, and competition.
Work with Cloud UX leadership and other teams to create a design that solves problems across a broad spectrum of users/businesses.
Create storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to guide design and development for networking products and services.
Collaborate on designs based on user feedback and tech constraints.
Help establish a design competency for networking and adjust the team as needed.
