- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience as a sales engineer or technical consultant in a cloud computing environment or in a customer-facing role (including working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team).
- Experience in mobile device management and related third-party integrations.
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, OAuth, 2-step verification).
- Experience with on-premise and cloud based mail delivery, routing, and filtering technologies.
- Understanding of Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS terminology.

As a Customer Engineer for Google Cloud, you will engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud.In this role, you will work with the Sales team as a Google Workspace subject-matter expert to help customers get the most out of collaboration and productivity tools. You will help existing and prospective customers understand the power of Google Cloud, explaining technical features, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. You will also have to travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.

- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Support the technical relationship with Google customers (e.g., product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination and prioritization of solutions impacting customer adoption of Google Cloud).
- Work with customers to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure.
