Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in digital marketing, advertising technology/marketing technology consulting or a customer-facing role.
  • 3 years of experience managing teams, building team culture, and cultivating talent.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, business development and/or client relationship management.
  • Experience in communications, branding planning, media planning and buying.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level audiences.
  • Experience working with and/or for major media/creative agencies.
  • Ability to establish relationships and presence within the agency marketplace.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Head of Agency and Partners, you will be an advisor for C-level customers through understanding of their business needs and objectives to drive impact. You will lead a team that is responsible for developing, managing and executing a joint business plan for a portfolio of partners, to support their transformation. You will be responsible for agreement activation and benefit management for the agencies and partners you support. You will lead internal/external projects on behalf of the entire agency team to drive acceleration, engagement or efficiency in both our customers and Google business. You will drive long-term impact through scaled engagement, influence and C-suite engagement, while remaining accountable to shorter term business objectives.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and execute strategically relevant priorities with agency leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder playbook and executive agency relationships to drive Google strategic priorities (e.g., Agency TV buyers and marketing technology leadership).
  • Scale strategic initiatives, convert priority Google initiatives with Agencies and Partners. Work with Google Business teams to leverage partner solutions to achieve client objectives through scaled partner driven delivery.
  • Support growth of priority accounts, address investment and process issues at the partner level and surface opportunities.
  • Develop and support operational accuracy, point of contact for executive Agency/Partner stakeholders related to the Google relationship.
