Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in coding (e.g., Python, Java), developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
5 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in building test automation solutions or improving testing effectiveness.
Experience with tools in Android Test Support Library used for user interface test automation.
Understanding of wireless technologies (e.g., UMTS, LTE, 5G) and mobile communication systems.
Ability to lead testing activities and engagement with cross-functional teams to shape design and project direction.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering efforts from planning, execution, and delivery to solve engineering problems in tools and testing.
Develop scalable and reliable automated tests for software and feature quality at both system and user level.
Design, create, modify, and execute test strategies/plans and drive to improve software testing processes and methodologies.
Analyze software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design.
Maintain team oriented tools or tests to increase productivity and design and build meaningful metrics systems.
