Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in a training business role or as a channel manager
  • Experience working with partners and sales trainers on technical training delivery plans and cloud technologies
  • Experience recruiting and managing partners, and delivering go-to-market strategies and results

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience launching and/or managing business offerings to achieve or exceed business goals
  • Experience implementing global business goals/initiatives across the Americas
  • Experience with business planning, business growth, and data-based approaches to business strategy
  • Ability to work in a fast, growing, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
  • Excellent negotiation and business development skills
  • Ability to speak and write in Japanese fluently to foster and develop key relationships with new and existing clients and partners in Japan

As a Customer Learning Lead, you will support and manage segments of the local training business. You'll manage and execute strategic business plans across the Japan region. You will work to determine which partners best fit our training goals and collaborate with them to build clear business plan goals for their training segments. You'll drive consumption of learning programs and strategic campaigns for enterprise accounts and regional customers, reporting business forecasts to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize with customers, regional training business leads, and customer account teams to understand learning needs, conduct scoping sessions, and make recommendations.
  • Launch and run learning campaigns across the Japan region to ensure that training is achieving business objectives, taking the size of local markets into account.
  • Support regional introductions of global initiatives for programs.
  • Support field teams in their training engagements within strategic accounts. Work with learning teams to provide resources, support, and advice.
  • Provide reports and business reviews (e.g., regional dashboards, training attach metrics, and training consumption) to stakeholders.
