Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, Science or Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in agreement consultation and management or executive sales at a technology company.
  • Experience in agreement negotiations for IT sector products and services, agreement drafting, C-level stakeholder management, and working with customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing complex agreement structures.
  • Experience in drafting complex agreements on legal requirements.
  • Ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive projects, and present investigative findings.
  • Ability to grow in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Ability to speak and write in Korean fluently.
  • Excellent project management, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

As a Commercial Manager for Google Cloud, you will serve as a strategic business partner for field sales, manage consultation and accelerate agreement closure timelines while mitigating commercial and agreement risk across all Google Cloud products. You will ensure that customers needs are addressed while minimizing Google risk and operational impact, and build and maintain relationships with Sales, internal cross-functional teams and customer consultants.

  • Partner with Field Sales teams early in the business cycle to drive proposal development and to shape large, strategic, enterprise agreements.
  • Engage directly with enterprise/select customers to lead commercial and agreement consultations, handle objections, socialize customer requests with internal stakeholders, and coordinate approvals. Act as an escalation point for resolving in-scope issues within assigned allocation.
  • Provide strategic stewardship on agreement negotiations to all internal and external stakeholders.Serve as a trusted advisor and partner with the internal stakeholder groups including Sales Leadership, Global Business Practices, Legal, Finance, and Product Development team.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and serve as the business partner for regional sales and sales operations management, provide value-add at forecast calls, staff meetings and business reviews.
