We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices and Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Define and expand sensor performance validation scope. Secure sensor performance and connect to system perspective from prototype stage to mass production stage, including key performance validation, automation feasibility of validation, and Failure Analysis.
  • Create and execute validation plans to cover each stage design change or extra possibility impacts sensor performance to achieve functional and performance goals.
  • Define and design basic software GUI to connect android system and test equipment integration for sensor performance validation.
  • Document and present results to internal and external engineering teams about the validation results.
  • Provide on-site build support to ensure product assembly quality is acceptable, the SOP is being followed, and sensor functionality/performance is adequate.
