Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Go or Python.
  • Experience with network equipment providers.
  • Experience in Operations with routers and switches.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building, deploying or supporting a large scale network infrastructure.
  • Understanding of transport networking, routing, and switching at scale.
  • Knowledge of IP network infrastructures and protocols.
  • Knowledge of SDN, network architecture, and networking protocols.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and create data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

As a member of the team, you have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our systems running smoothly. You also ensure that network operations are safe and efficient by monitoring network performance, coordinating planned maintenance, adjusting hardware components and responding to network connectivity issues. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$208,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create workflow, network monitoring/troubleshooting automation to improve the Network.
  • Debug complex issues and root cause incidents impacting the network and customers.
  • Develop and help debug and mitigate risk profiles for network health.
  • Lead improvements in documentation, playbooks, and training for support organizations.
  • Work with network design, deployment, and engineering teams to operationalize stable, scalable platforms.
