Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions for a variety of formats and audiences (e.g., instructor-led training, e-learning, video based training).
- Experience making technical concepts digestible by creating short, engaging video content.
- Experience in owning the video production process from start to finish.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing localization-friendly and accessible learning solutions.
- Experience with a teleprompter and ability to be comfortable and engaging behind the lens.
- Ability to produce high quality voice over narration.
- Ability to build relationships and to collaborate effectively with highly technical subject matter experts to develop training content and curricula.
- Excellent communication, writing and editing skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including effectively explaining technical topics to novice or non-technical audiences.
- Graphic Design skills.

The Google Cloud Learning Services (CLS) team is within the Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) organization. Our mission is to seed the market with millions of trained and certified Google Cloud professionals through high quality, innovative, and valued learning solutions that drive adoption. Within CLS, the Content Development team works to design and develop first-class training and certifications for both our customers and partners, and consists of Training and Development, Lab Development, Production and Learning Experience and Learning Portfolio.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own the learning experience outlook and partner with portfolio lead and curriculum developer to select course modality and write measurable learning objectives.
- Develop content, such as scripts/storyboards, classroom activities, and assessments.
- Act as a point of contact between curriculum developers and various other team service functions (i.e., Technical Editor, Platform Specialist, Video Production Team, etc.).
- Develop creative, learner-centered, performance-based e-learning modules and videos. Ensure that content has a consistent look and feel.
- Design and collaborate on graphics and animations (e.g., may partner with visual designer and video production team).
