Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with web services related standards such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, and OAuth.
  • Experience in a Technical Customer Engineering role in a cloud computing environment or similar customer facing role.
  • Experience with development in Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and other API-related technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of middleware and cloud technologies, including NoSQL data stores, Google Cloud, and mobile app development.
  • Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence key decision makers around deployment topologies, scaling, performance, and sizing.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with prospects in different geographies and time zones, and with a distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop working relationships with customers' technical staff to be able to gain their trust and credibility.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to align the technical requirements and solution design with the customer's business drivers.
  • Develop presentations and demos with a clear plan to take a prospect successfully through the evaluation process and turn them into a happy customer.
  • Manage and lead customers throughout the evaluation process to completion.
  • Coordinate and deliver request for proposals/information/questions responses and technical architecture solutions.
