Engagement Manager, Google Cloud Consulting
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Technical, or Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role, interfacing with executive stakeholders, leading technical implementations, pre-sales, consulting engagements, transformation programs, or other initiatives.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers in cloud professional services organizations or IT consulting.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in a Management, Technical or Engineering field.
- Experience in value consulting, proposal development and execution with technology products, and/or services organizations.
- Experience writing and negotiating agreement documents.
- Experience managing a business pipeline.
- Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and other third-parties to deliver and manage implementation of solutions.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on negotiating and delivering projects with partners.

Our Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) organization within Google Cloud delivers Professional Services (PSO)/consulting, support, and learning services to our customers to help them get the most out of their Google Cloud investments.
As an Engagement Manager (EM), you will serve as the Business Development Manager in Professional Services where you will function as the go-to-market lead for GCC. You will interface with our customers to define and create a services strategy which will enable them to realize their business objectives throughout their cloud adoption journey. You will drive business development activities for new and organic growth opportunities across multiple customers, focused on supporting the Customer’s adoption of Google Cloud.
In this role, you will support a multi-customer portfolio, focused on supporting our Customer’s adoption of Google Cloud platform while managing GCC’s key financial metrics. You will engage with diverse stakeholder groups, including executives of enterprises and a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team within Google.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business teams to capture customer requirements and develop a services strategy for individual accounts and act as the point of contact for services in partnership with the Business team.
- Collaborate with the customer team to accelerate Google Cloud adoption by qualifying opportunities, pitching services, capturing customer requirements, and developing implementation.
- Manage scope, timeline, and cost, and create agreement frameworks. Manage portfolio level financial metrics, bookings and credits, and staffing forecast.
- Determine project goals, define success criteria, and create Statements of Work (SOWs) for customer-related projects.
- Develop partner strategy for regional Professional Services Organization (PSO) teams. Manage all partner agreement and partner management.
