Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, account management, or similar roles.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating agreements with partners.
  • Experience with consumer payments, payment platforms, or similar areas.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working for an e-commerce provider/e-commerce merchant, managing providers that enable identity verification services, fraud services, or payment processing.
  • Understanding of operating rules, regulations, and key agreement terms related to payment acceptance processes and supporting services (e.g. identity verification).
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment.
  • Ability to digest complex business and technical requirements to evaluate new opportunities and assess impacts to cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and communicate internally/externally as an advocate for Google with all levels of management.
