Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience working on technical or related policy, including AI policy.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a technology company, government, NGO or similar organization managing technology policy issues including AI.
- Experience working closely with product or engineering teams, with the ability to understand technical issues.
- Government relations experience, with the ability to integrate public policy with business strategy.
- Familiarity with, and ability to learn and think about the latest research in AI and societal/ethical implications.
- Excellent communication skills.
