Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in analog design.
- Experience with Electrical Engineering lab instruments and their use in verification and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading component selection, schematic, layout, bring-up, and test of power systems for high volume consumer electronics (>1M units per year).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with custom silicon PMIC definition and bringup with partner IC vendors.
- Experience with wireless charging, fast charging (>1C), Lithium Polymer cells, JEITA, step charging, USB-PD.
- Experience with power modeling to feed thermal analysis and with thermal challenges related to power and mitigation strategies.
- Expert with simulation tools for discrete design and deep knowledge of DC-DC topologies for boost and buck converters.
- Experience with low power consumer product development in portable electronics (e.g., tablets, phones, notebooks).
- Expertise of the USB-C specification.
