Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with communication/signaling protocols utilized in power engineering.
- 5 years of experience with power systems protection and controls.
- 4 years of experience developing power system models and performing system analysis for protection/dynamic/transient studies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with HIL testing using RTDS, OPAL-RT and other commercially viable closed loop testing methods.
- Experience with NEC (National electrical code) and understanding of building codes.
- Familiarity with energy storage technologies, including utility-scale Lithium ion batteries.
