Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of metal stamping experience including tool design and construction, debug, cost, and qualification processes.
  
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing reliable, effective technical relationships with contract manufacturers.
• Experience with Product Data Management systems (Agile, Windchill) and 3D CAD modeling tools, such as SolidWorks or Pro Engineer.
• Understanding of precision sheet metal fabrication processes (NC punching, press brake forming, hardware insertion processes), hard tooling fabrication processes (metal stamping), and plastic injection molding processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise with electro-mechanical assembly.
