Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in networking technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, Routing, VPN, VLAN, Peering, Load-Balancing, Firewall, DHCP, ICMP, NAT, CDN, DNS).
- 5 years of experience reading or debugging code in any of the following (e.g., Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript).
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications in CCNP, CCIE, CKA, RHCE.
- Experience using techniques such as packet-capture/packet-analysis, load testing, and traffic-path analysis to troubleshoot network-latency, packet-loss and performance issues.
- Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
- Experience with any of these cloud solutions such as Open source software communities, Cloud networking solutions, distributed-computing technology, hybrid/multi cloud connectivity.
- Knowledge of virtual/container networking, web technologies, HTTP/HTTPS, network administrator level Linux/Unix or Windows.
- Ability to work in shifts.
