Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
- Experience in product operations, project management, or testing operations in a digital distribution environment.
- Experience with test automation, test planning, test design, and test coverage.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience assessing the viability of automation solutions and determine when operational workarounds are sufficient or when escalation is necessary.
- Experience with Command-line Interface (CLI) tools, basic APIs, and basic Bash scripting.
- Experience with troubleshooting and deep-diving into technical issues.
- Experience with testing methodologies and test case writing.
- Familiarity with basic SQL, spreadsheets, various data formats (e.g., XML, JSON), and data parsing techniques.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,500-$125,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as UX, Partner Engineering, Product Management, and Application teams to design, develop, and deploy tests that prioritize quality, system health, performance, connectivity, and interactions.
- Build and maintain a stable automated test suite for critical TV users flows across various devices and build goals within a continuous integration system.
- Collaborate with the Product team to design and implement comprehensive testing workflows for new feature launches, partner onboarding, and app quality assessments.
- Identify opportunities to streamline testing processes, leverage automation to improve efficiency, and ensure the timely delivery of testing results.
- Manage relationships with technical vendors, ensuring their performance aligns with Google TV's quality standards and testing requirements.
