Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience analyzing data and generating business insights.
  • 7 years of experience developing operational solutions, process improvements, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 7 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience in financial analysis in a customer service or contact center environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

gTech’s Product and Tools Operations team (gPTO) leverages deep user, operational, and technical insights to innovate Google's Ads products into customer experiences that are so intuitive (or automated) that they require no support at all. gPTO partners closely with gTech’s Support, Professional Services, Product Management, and Engineering teams to innovate and simplify our Ads products and build the productivity tools ecosystem for gTech users.

The Ops Transformation and Supplier Optimization team drive Excellent Operations by delivering solutions in spend, risk, and supplier optimization. We serve as trusted partners who continuously identify and implement improvements across gUp Ops. In this role, you will provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis on spend within gUP Operations. You;ll play a crucial role in driving cost optimization, identifying trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of spending data to identify cost drivers, outliers, and opportunities for optimization.
    Analyze the financial impact of proposed changes to Ops support models, such as staffing adjustments or technology implementations.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop annual budgets. Monitor actual spending against budget, provide regular variance analysis reports, and
    assist in forecasting future spending needs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial reports on spending across the team. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management, highlighting trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
