Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with security reviews, architecture or enhancement.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience in the Hardware security field, with an understanding of hardware systems architecture.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in RoTs, GPUs, CPUs, NICs, and switches.
- Experience conducting firmware security reviews.

As an Information Security Engineer at Google, you will help ensure that our software and systems are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. You will perform technical security assessments, code reviews and vulnerability testing to highlight risk, helping Google teams and partners to improve security. You will also work closely with other Google Engineers to design and build proactive methods to enhance our security. You will work on a wide variety of software designs and technology stacks. In addition, you will have the option to specialize or perform research in a number of fields.

Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on the design and implementation of security architecture for upcoming AI/ML GPU platforms.
- Lead efforts to enhance the security posture of existing AI/ML GPU platforms, addressing vulnerabilities and driving best practices.
- Conduct threat modeling and security reviews to proactively identify and mitigate risks in AI/ML GPU platforms.
- Work closely with vendors to align on security requirements for both hardware and software components.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions.
