Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with industry-standard tools, languages and methodologies relevant to the development of silicon-based ICs and chips.
- 10 years of experience with custom silicon design (e.g., SoCs, ASICs, etc).
- 6 years of experience in people management, developing employees.
- Experience with analog and digital mixed signal design (e.g., AMS, DMS).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
- 10 years of experience with analog and digital mixed signal design.
- Experience leading cross-functional IP development and SoC integration.
- Experience with bleeding edge process nodes in silicon foundries.
- Experience in silicon engineering topics from architecture and implementation to productization and high volume manufacturing.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead a team responsible for the design, verification, and implementation of analog and digital mixed signal IPs used inside Google’s consumer SoCs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with peer groups in the broader organization to ensure that IP deliveries meet product Power, Performance, Area (PPA) and cost goals.
- Define and execute on a multi-year Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) roadmap for SoCs to help improve and differentiate Google products.
- Communicate and work with multi-disciplined and multi-site global teams.
- Provide mentorship and managerial support to a multidisciplinary team of Engineers.
