Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in business leadership, including consulting, Creator or Gaming industry experience.
  • 1 year of experience in program management or equivalent.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the YouTube creator ecosystem, the Gaming industry, or E-commerce operations.
  • Ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, high energy, constantly evolving, team environment.
  • Ability to effectively influence, communicate and drive change with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to structure a compelling storyline and build presentation decks/documents to support their position.
  • Excellent business acumen with distinctive investigative and analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and creative problem solving.

About the job

The YouTube Strategy team focuses on our highest priorities, solving complex, ambiguous problems that span early stage growth initiatives, investing in our largest product or business areas, making major operational or organizational changes, and assessing strategic rationale for YouTube external investment opportunities. Throughout, we provide analytics-based insights, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, help YouTube teams drive our most important strategic initiatives, and advise our senior leadership on the best path forward.

The YouTube Business APAC Regional GTM team is responsible for leading global, cross-functional, strategic initiatives to drive the unprecedented growth and health of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning and business operations, incentives design and operations, and business strategy and operations for APAC markets.

In this role, you will be a key partner to YouTube APAC Partnerships teams and leadership, helping them to bring our Creator, EMCO, and Shopping products to market, and advocate for creators and publishers helping to bring their feedback to product teams to ensure it meets the needs of all of our creators and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product go-to-market strategy in APAC for three key verticals/products: Creator, Emerging Products and Communities, Shopping.
  • Work with Global Product Activation team and the APAC YouTube Partnerships team to drive business outcomes and product adoption goals, leading cross­-functional projects working with broad stakeholder set.
  • Support the launch of Creator, Emerging Products and Communities and Shopping products in APAC markets.
  • Synthesize and prioritize regional product feedback, make recommendations on product roadmap to global.
  • Collaborate with global product, regional and country teams on pilots, program assessments, and cross-functional engagements to drive market growth and support business plan.
