Minimum qualifications:

  • A portfolio of creative work.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 11 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
  • Experience with motion-based storytelling.
  • Knowledge of design, technology trends.
  • Understanding of consumer insights and how to apply these to Google projects.

Brand Studio is focused on building the Google brand. By combining user insights, strategic thinking, beautiful design and storytelling, our team creates a wide range of work that drives Google’s reputation for being helpful to people, businesses, and communities. Our work also aims to build advocacy and trust in the brand. To achieve that, we’re a multidisciplinary team of marketers, strategists, insights specialists, creatives, producers, and engineers who work together to create exceptional marketing.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategically and conceptually socially-led brand campaigns focused on a wide audience, including consumers and key opinion formers. You will lead and collaborate daily with a diverse set of specialists from designers, writers, filmmakers, strategists, project managers, and producers. You will oversee brand storytelling across a variety of media including social, broadcast, print and documentary.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creative development of integrated brand campaigns across the media.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional creative team to not only lead the work, but help ideate and identify new creative approaches.
  • Create strategically sound conceptual work and bring it to life via rapid prototyping and storyboard creation.
  • Manage complex projects, various stakeholders in a fast-paced ambiguous environment. Guide external design and production agencies.
