Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in Java or C++.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- 1 year of experience working with mobile application development (Java for Android/Android SDK).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience with web application development.
- Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test development.
- Familiarity working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with scalable design/testing practices in support of developer teams.
- Ability to analyze, run experiments and optimize performance.

Responsibilities
- Design robust mobile features focused on performance, maintainability, and reusability using Java and C++.
- Develop automated tests as part of new and existing feature development.
- Participate in design and code reviews for teammates and other Chrome/Google teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to plan, launch, and analyse experiments for users.
- Profile code, run experiments and analyze data to optimize resource use across many use cases.
