Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with large systems software design and development, with extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux.
- Experience with parallel/distributed computing and with modern API technologies.
- Experience in distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
- Experience building both self service adopted products and enterprise ready products
- Experience building Google scale products, whether at Google or with other large cloud providers

Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, reliable, and high-performance ML infrastructure solutions catering to diverse customer needs. Drive best practices adoption and utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance platform performance and security.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and foster innovation within the engineering team. AI/ML adoption across the organization, fostering enthusiasm, expertise, and leading initiatives. Offer technical expertise during critical incidents and complex problem-solving for high customer satisfaction.
- Establish AI/ML best practices, conduct design reviews, and build scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers to define Apigee's Advanced API Security product roadmap for AI/ML features, ensuring successful delivery. Collaborate with internal/external teams to drive innovation, providing guidance on leveraging Google's AI/ML models and APIs.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively integrating them into our product offerings and processes.
